100% Sure This is Diplodocus.

It's proportions are more congruent with Diplo than Apato. If you look closely in the new dev diary (harder to see in this image) you can see spikes along its back. There isn't a doubt in my mind that this isn't Diplodocus.

I'll accept being wrong, but until now I had no reason to believe that Diplodocus was in the game. In the image I posted and the clip it was from, I believe we have Diplodocus. My reason for suspicion is the positioning of its neck (which appears slightly lower and longer than Apatosaurus) and what appear to be spikes along its back. The moment I saw it, I was taken back to Walking With Dinosaurs and its Diplodocus.

Did you also noticed left of the Brachiosaurus the Chunkingosaurus in your picture? :)

Yep! Love that we finally get a look at it. Though I must say, Huayangosaurus really stole my heart from the other Stegosaurs lol.

Well - Brontosaurus and Apatosaurus are basically sister genera. So they are pretty much the same type of dinosaur. In fact it has only been very recently that they have been officially recognized to be different genera, at all.

Having Brontosaurus in the game - along with Apatosaurus, would be like having both T.rex and Tarbosaurus in the game.

It is kind of pointless. And might be a bit confusing to JP/JW fans who aren't dino-philes.

I know, that why I said it. :)

But I heard recently that Brontosaurus might be considered it's own Dinosaur or something like that. Like it used to be when I was a kid.
