It took me about 1,500 systems to find my first. Got 11 in the next 1,500. Probability is a harsh mistress.

Say, I wonder about something. You said that other than the number, this one isn't remarkable, so I wonder: which ones of your finds do you count as remarkable ELW-s? When I thought about this for my paltry 180 ELW-s, I think I could say maybe a dozen at best.

ELWs that are ringed, or moons, especially moons around gas giants. #'s 996, 997, and 998 were, one ringed and two that were moons..just the luck of the draw I guess.
