Community Event / Creation 100th Abraka Drabble celebrations

So we're having a SHOW and a half to really give a nice shine to our 100th drabble competition..

What I would love is if you could go through the last 100 competitions and pick your favourite winning drabble to record either video OR audio only. You can join me live on the show to read live if you prefer.

I will create shows to run each night in that week (5 weeks time) to read through all 100 winning drabbles (including doubles and three-ways)

But I would love you to be part of this...

SO if you have a particular favourite drabble that didn't win, I am open to special recognition awards...

I think we need to notify someone like ED try and get some newsletter mention maybe?>

An Authors competion, try and get as many of the Elite authors to write a drabble (maybe even the author of dockers ) and we could have a seperate vote for that....... (maybe get them to record them too in their own way)

oh 5. The Award for kow tipping - the moment where the reader looses it through drabble content.....

A first timers competion - If we can get it in the newsletter ect we could have a seperate competion for complete novices

6. Award for the drabble that nobody understood (you could give this to frank now )

As I mentioned in the main drabble thread. I've been working on a poll for everyone to vote on their favourite winning Drabble, I can if you all want move it over to here and lock it for now until it's complete giving everyone to look at it and make changes where needed.

That's much more of a spectacular than I was envisioning. I hope you're going to be wearing a tux. The biggest problem I see is that there's going to be about 120 to 150 Drabbles in the contest. That's a bit past the 20 option limit of this forum's poll system. Are you thinking of holding the contest off-site?

Of course you could have tons of readings, then let everyone choose their favourite and put it forward for the 100th poll.

Make 5 polls (20 drabbles each) at the begining of the week.

At the end of the week, take the 5 winners and make another poll. After the weekend, "Hey presto" we have the drabble that has been voted the most popular by the viewers/listeners.

The writer of the winning drabble gets a special award presented in person by none other than Susan Boils.

Frank T.J has used his ghostly wizzardly powers to make a BIG POLL of the 100+few winners so we can host it here...

I would suggest a poll of that size might need a full week of consideration, and I'm not sure if thats about enough for that 1 week, with maybe spreading the celebrations over the next week.....

Its how we go about it, I would approach authors to have a read at the winning drabbles and pick on to read/video for us... IF they are so enclined to do so.

Darren Grey can read his own.. Also it might be nice to approach the old winners to join back in... like Cathy
