Silliness and fun aside, welcome! I had an idea quite a while ago and finally with the recent beta have complete and full access to getting 4k shots of all the ships in Elite, including the two new additions. As you can see, so far I have been able to create 6 for this first release and 13 to go. They are fairly time intensive but I am getting a decent workflow down.
They are, as the title says, in 1920x1080 for HD goodness and I have also created them in 300dpi, meaning you can print them out and the quality will not suffer unless you print beyond its intended dimensions. If you do go ahead and print it out, let me know! Tweet to me @memoocanYT or on FB MemoocanYT or here on Reddit
Instead of simply being screenshots, I instead decided to go a more painterly route for both the ships and backgrounds.
The next release will also be 6 six ships, since it seems to be a fairly balanced group and it also takes enough time that it's a happy medium between "gimmee nao" and "wut? you did some before?"
