*** 118 Ship flotilla ***
Rumours are still doing the rounds regarding the Emperor's health. A reliable source within the Empire has stated that the Emperor has already died, but this is being covered up by the Senate in light of the current leadership crisis. The Senate continues to decline to comment.
Traffic around major Imperial systems has started increasing in the past 2 days. Traffic reports in some systems suggest as much as a 400% increase. Asked if this is due to community events, a local traffic controller said "Traffic normally spikes during community events, but we're seeing a consistent increase and longer waiting times for docking pads, especially in Achenar".
CMDR Elenar, an Earl in the Imperial Navy is arranging a flotilla of 118 Imperial Vessels (Clippers and Couriers preferably) to form part of this tragic but historic event. Each ship will mark one year of our glorious Emperor's life. The flotilla will fly in orbit around the Capitol in Achenar.
More ships are welcome and openly encouraged. This will be a strict no fire and no grief event. CMDRs found guilty will be severely dealt with. Any CMDRs wanting to join and fly protection duty are also most welcome. We are hoping that undesired elements stay out of this, but we want to be prepared in case.
This event is not restricted to Imperial citizens - any pilot wishing to pay their respects are welcome. Anyone wishing to form part of the flotilla is encouraged to contact CMDR Elenar via private message.
