I disagree - I find it much more satisfying that my navigation computer can indicate planetary information of all types on my HUD. Of course I am pleased that their removal is but a key/button-press away but similarly I await the nav computer upgrade to include barycentre orbits too.
Orbit lines and other bits of high technology seem appropriate for a starship, and even after all the years I have been playing I use as many of them as I wish.I noticed you're using orbit-lines; this is used by greenhorns only...
Oh I toggle them on and off all the time, so much so that they are on a binding on my throttle that's easy to reach ;-)
