Newcomer / Intro 13 year old sons experience of Elite! (Positive story!)

Hi All,
Thought i‘d share my sons early Elite journey — avoiding too much of a grind (except Selene...)
Step 1
He followed Manus Dextra’s BHing Youtube beginners guide
—> This aims at getting an ”Easy Engineered” Viper and basing yourself at LHS 20 —> right next to High Res sites.
Engineers unlocked = Farseer, Martuuk, The Dweller and Mcquinn
In the videos a Cobra III is used as a the material gathere/taxi —> He used a DBX instead (a bit more expensive)

Step 2
After grinding enough credits to get an Asp X + Mining loadout
He unlocked Qwent, Vatermann, Cheung and Selene

Step 3
Kitted out a Vulture with those 8 Engineers and back in LHS 20 Ohm city killing stuff again.

For anyone that just wants to PvE but still progress—> this route seems a fun one!

Don't know how this video goes on, but the classic (i.e. before Alliance ships) next step after the Vulture was the Federal Assault Ship, which requires a bit of Fed rank.
