Thanks to my allies at Sothis. Then I got another 900k for a delivery to the next system. Then my trade rank was upped to Entrepreneur. Work for the evening done!

Is Sothis the Robigo equivalent? How far do you have to jump to get to the inner system to make your drops and what space does it come under? Empire, federation of alliance?

Go visit, it also has a rare which also makes up if your trade rank means you don't get silly priced missions back to the bubble

Range is about 400Ly and cargo 80 max. A bit further than Robigo but still Federation. Missions are usually of the 'dont get destroyed' variety so scans not an issue.

I never get good trade missions because my rank is only Broker and they always need Enterpreneur. I'm sure that when I reach it every mission will need Tycoon. :)

I think I'll go make a visit there with my trusted cargo scanner.
I not seen any don't get scanned/smuggle slaves like robigo so you may be barking up the wrong tree if your doing the scan to fail missions. But if your out to pirate then that is the right tree so free to bark my pirating friend

It really ain't with the randomness of the missions. If I ever pirate there it'll be right outside the station in something that can handle a bit of fire but can catch up to an Asp, maybe FDL. I might give it a try at some point. Maybe I just have to tell me while they are leaving the station to drop some of their cargo and if they don't they go boom when they get close to the edge of the no-fire zone. Either way I would have to be a lot stricter probably blowing a lot more people up in the process than I am doing piracy in the bubble.

Then again if I go out there I might rob a couple and then everyone there is in solo so that would be 300Ly just for an hour of fun maybe. Also doubt there will be a decent amount of people there to begin with as it is so spread out.

Beg to differ on the 30 minutes bit. How long to get there from normal space, and back if you want to do another run?

Money was earned in 30 mins but it took another 15 mins to get back. Then I am afraid you have to wait 4 hours for another juicy contract to come up. So you cant grind it over and over.

Griefer free.

Not from what I've heard. Those darn NPCs trying to grief and stuff. We should have a mode where there are no griefer NPCs.

NPC's are fine. In an Asp Explorer you either have enough firepower to destroy the NPC, or enough speed to do a Brave Sir Robin on them. :p

I'd be less confident against a human in a Cobra than I would against an NPC in a Python.

Why do people post about these things? To help others or to ring the dinner bell and see the others who come die a horrible death?

1. Duh when piracy is barely awarded.

2. No it would just have to be a requirment. There is simply more at risk when I'm pirating near a station.
when I first joined this you were the lovable pirate and now all I can think of is Ol Yeller and your slipping into the rabid part of the film. I don't want to get the shotgun out [cry]
