15 minutes of exploring.

Not bad!

I am enjoying this more than mindless back and forth trading. And I am on my way to the center of galexy! wish me luck! I just hope I am noticing Ports for refueling are becoming sparse. Could I get into some trouble?

yeah!

But now I am in trouble as I predicted.

Can you explore new systems that have docks? I need to refuel and its nothing but grey systems for many LY. Where do green, red and blue areas come from? exploration? or just already implemented into game by default?

Get your self a fuel scoop. This will give a lot more freedom and you can go deeper before you need to get back to sell.

Also when you get the scoop make sure you have enough fuel left to jump back to a suitable star, i've been caught out with little fuel next to a supermassive class A-B white blue star.
Couldn't get close enough to scoop without burning up over 130%
One crazy high speed run later i had just enough fuel to get back....half of my hull had burned away but heck
I survived

You also want to scoop around mostly red dwarfs and G to K class suns, haven't really tried the brown dwarfs as a source of fuel

I think the stations are there standard when you jump into an unexplored system, many times i've jumped in to a binary system found nothing with MK1 eyeball then found a station 1200Ls out on system view
A couple of planets/jovians on the way

OK not a bad Idea.. But is it not possible to explore new ports? or are those already set in stone?

At least before, you automatically see all the ports in the system even if it's unexplored ... there are a lot of uninhabited systems with no ports so you need a scoop to explore outside the "civilized" space :)

15 minutes ? Lies it takes more than 15 to fully explore at least one system.

I noticed you make good money without even exploring each individual unexplored spot. Just finding the unexplored spots by scanning right after you get out of warp you get credits. I noticed no increase of credits by scanning the individual spots.

In the final game as far as i can see there will be 2 restrictions though that limit how far you can get away from the last station: Your life support will run out and your gear will wear off (take a look in the repair section of a station, wear and tear is already simulated a bit but repairing it doesn't cost money at this point). So although there is no more "hard" pill that limits us there is a soft one which allows us to only get to probably 10000-20000 systems max once lifesupport and wear and tear are fully functional.

I thought my old freagle was getting a little scratched on the canopy, been wanting to get another CMDR to blow it off for me to get a new one XD

I really don't think individually exploring the planets and stars makes a difference. I got this highlighted payout from just a "Thump And Jump" 60 seconds tops!

It really does make a difference :)

Go back to that same system with a detailed surface scanner, scan everything, and report back :p

The individual scans increase the revenue a lot, especially with detailed surface scanner but you still get nice payouts for just jumping in and doing a quick scan sometimes.

ok I will do that. Wow if i get 28k from just a basic scan then jumping...?? I can't imagine how much I will make with better scanner.
