15 % Ship Discount and Rebuying

Good morning

A bird told me that Diaguandri, Ray Gateway, where they have 15 ships at 15% off. I'm gonna make my way there and buy a Vulture of this is true.

While I'm there would it be worth it to sell my Python and rebuy it? I also heard you have to wait like 10-15 minutes to be able to rebuy at the new price. Can someone confirm?

Yes, strip and sell your python and rebuy as much as you can discounted. You'll free up some pocket change and (significantly) lower your insurance at the same time. Undock and redock after you sell all the modules so they don't show up on the buyback list, it needs to be fresh to show the discounted prices.

I can confirm the 10 minute wait to rebuy modules. I sold and rebought all the shield tech on my Python while it was discounted in 78 Ursae Majoris.

I'm also curious to know if you can sell and rebuy a ship in the same manner.

You lose 10% when you sell a ship, but yes they are currently 15% cheaper in Li Yong-Rui space, so you should still save a few million cr :)
