18.5 mil? are you nuts? stock FDL costs over 50 mil. Not to mention armaments and upgrades.
He could start small and get the 6A power plant at least and then sit there admiring how shiny it is in his storage...
Not worth it. Just get a ship that you can actually use. I personally think the cobra is the best step up for a new player. I still have and fly mine, and I got both the FDL and the Python in my fleet. Just a super fun ship.

FDL? never use it myself, it just sits there gathering dust. Python is a different story though, that's a very useful ship, maybe *the* most useful ship of all
yeah, Cobra III for the win. buy one now, keep it forever - there will always be a use for the Cobra regardless of what other ships you own.

That's right! I demand gratuitous no-reason multi million credit payouts be nerfed!
The only fair thing now is for FD to give everyone 18.5 million.
