5 days a week, 8 hours a day, 52 weeks in the year comes to 2080 hours. I haven't been obsessed enough to exceed a standard job in time spent at this game.

I have a few hundred hours (too ashamed to post exact amount) and I feel sick about it (and most of this time I played with hope/expectation that they'll make the game right at some point). Divide your hours by 8 (or 5 to be more honest) and you'll get the amount of full work/study days we could've done something.
Fdevs - at least make this game more scientifically correct and make some activities require players to learn some actual science. Or thousands of brain-dead young people will be on your hands.

No worries Ralph...you will hit it eventually...that's what I keep telling myself everytime I get done with highrez site I've been working for 2 hours...and my percent goes up by 2%...I am in no danger of hitting elite in the next few days for sure...been sitting at dangerous for months it seems...but its not a sprint race so...I keep on killin...and making momeny for my next build while I plan my course of actions over the next few weeks.

Strangely, since the last update you can find your playtime under exploration stats.
I was hoping we'll find some aliens or something out there. I was under impression that devs would let us gather some equipment and then launch a war or something, but that never happened. - that's why I'm not nearly as dumb as that pizza guy I didn't order another one - at least I got that going on for me

Such numbers are best off never looked at. I once saw that I had 10,000 games played in World of Tanks. Thing is, each game starts with a 30 second count down timer - so that's over 3 days solid doing nothing but watch a clock count down.
