I have no idea what my hours are on. The only comparison I have is 2180+ hours in Skyrim which I played daily for hours as a way "de-stress" myself from work. (More on weekends)

I would imagine I'm somewhere in the 1000's with Elite.

Oh darn it, had not downloaded the patch when posting last time. (Thought you guys were reading it from Steam, and that OP meant "I want to get rid of steam stats") — I've got a little over 10 weeks of playtime listed.


EDIT - The interesting part is that it appears to persist through savegame wipes. I've deleted many times, last time just a few days ago.

777, what kind of hours does a commercial driver log yearly (not commuter birds)?

500-800 hours yearly is common for two 1.6 hour missions a day in a tactical bird in peacetime. Strategic and logistical drivers log much, much more.

Wartime throws everything out the window, at maximum operational tempo's.

I guess it was added because they wanted to shut up those people ( steam ) who ( for some reason ) needed time played displayed at their profile . You know because two games at steam shop thingy

Downloading is way better via Steam.
I resisted as long as possible since I have no interest in Steam but I gave in after a few days straight trying to download Horizons. Constant crashing and close to zero download speed.

Had to figure out how, but got my Steam key for E, plugged it in, started the download from scratch and a few (four+) hours later was playing Horizons.

Experiences may differ but I won't be using Frontier directly again for patches/updates/expansions.

Somehow only 614 hours here, not counting beta 2. Was guessing close to almost 1100. For the first time in my life, I overestimated something!
