1st Trip to Sag A* Dolphin or Anaconda

I'm making my 1st trip to A*

I already have a 53 ly Anaconda and am building a ~48 ly Dolphin.

I can't decide which to take because although my Anaconda is a slug in SC I can have all the scanners and 2 x AFMU.

In the Dolphin I can't have both a 2nd AFMU and the Detailed Scanner.

Meh, I really think I should take the Dolphin so is the detailed scanner really worth it over a 2nd AFMU?

I'd say never go exploring without a DSS - unless you know you won't be scanning any planets

If you love the dolphin just drop the 2nd AMFU - you probably won't need it, just be careful that you don't boop many stars

Good call, not bumping stars is easier in the Dolphin as it's more agile in SC. So solved then!

DSS it is then.

I agree with the above ... :)
I am getting to love the Dolphin, but it is a shame there aren't more slots for kit

A first find terraforming candidate is worth around 500,000 cr if you have a DSS. There are a near infinite number of systems in the core region with several of these planets. You do the maths. Prevent your internals from dropping to 97% health, or make tens or even hundreds of millions while going to Sag A*... :D
