A my friend CMDR Treeclimber and I had decided to avoid the rush for purchasing meta-alloys, and instead headed to one of the barnacles for what I hoped would be a quick snatch and grab. Upon arrival to the barnacle at Merope 5C, coordinates of -026.3, -156.4, we found the organic outcroppings to be shattered, and no meta alloys were present. However, the barnacle itself is now scannable, and gives a data package of approximately 200k credits. My question is if these changes are new to the 2.1 update, or if they have been present since the meta-alloy community goal?
