2.2 bug clarification

HI am reading that module storage and ship transfers are bugged and could damge your CMDR data is this correct or just scaremongering?

There is an official message in the game regarding module transfer, I doubt that is scaremongering.

Module storage is. If you take a module out of storage and fit it to your ship it may corrupt your commander data so don't do it until it's fixed.

Ship transfer is OK as far as I know.

I believe they mean that you should not try to add more than one of a type of module that ships can normally only have one of. So storing a shield module and restoring it is fine, but if you try to restore two shield modules to a ship then it's going to screw up your commander.

Thanks guys i found it, just need to be careful, but should be fixed pronto hopefully.
