2.2: Jumps slower than before - in general

I noticed that the jumps (System to System) are slightly slower than before. We were able to conduct perfect jumps in 43 seconds, now its around a minute.

When I am not totally blind I see 3 reasons:

1. New Animation and new system information sequence
2. "Come-out"-point at the target (I always have to run around the star to face the next system)
3. servers

I just can talk for myself but this is a nogo. Jumps and especially the sequence between is nothing more than a time-killer.

Is there any chance to speed this up in the nearer future? It really starts to annoy me.
Thx

Hi

I have noticed this too i assume it is server related perhaps more is loaded in the transition now than before? (Things like orbital cruise now dont pause generally like they did)

Something to do with a load of people coming back to try out the new patch, maybe? Just guessing.

I'm jumping back from Jaques to the Bubble at present, and I rather like the way you're aligned towards the next system on exit. Yeah, it means you have to go around the star, but it's generally reasonably quick and makes it easy to scoop en route, keeping the fuel tank topped up rather than stopping for a longer drink once every several jumps.

Hmm I blamed the server load but now I hope this was not intended. Jump time shouldn't be longer, really.
Could we have some official statement please?

I might add that I had exactly the same behaviour in Beta.

Generally, jumping is the most annoying thing in this game (lets say not jumping, but the "wait"-sequence to get the next system from the server and so on). I didnt like it from the beginning, but now it´s slower and it´s not so funny :(

I logged in for the first time in 6 months today to check out the latest changes. After 30 minutes, I've had it. Seriously, if my life was so boring that I'd have nothing better to do than spend 1+ minute per jump I'd kill myself straight away. I'm out of here, and I won't bother logging in again until I see stable jump times at max 15 seconds reported, which is far shorter than I've ever experienced at any point since launch.

The jump times are an absolute dealbreaker which completely ruins a game I would otherwise have loved.

I say remove the jumping all together.

Let me target the other side of the galaxy and start accelerating, until half the distance has been reached, and then start breaking. Seeing all the stars in the galaxy swoosh by, in perfect realistic fashion.
If I see a neutron star passing by I should be able to quickly do a fast note of its position, by just calculating the time it took until I reached that position, and then I can travel back and visit it for exploration points, etc etc.

The pro of this method is that I do no longer have to stop at every star on the way, but can just sit back and watch the rest of the galaxy pass by. If I want to explore, I can switch to doing small jumps, but on my own terms.

The longer the distance, the longer it takes, but we no longer have to stop at every star, unless to make a refuel stop.

Before patch, I never heard my graphics card fan.

After patch, it sounds like a plane taking off.

Coincidence? Me think not.

The jumps are definitely longer. I noticed it in the first five minutes of 2.2.
