2.2 Reveal confirmed for gamescom

Loving the new concept art for those blue stars and it was cool to hear that the huge plasma bursts can power up the ship's FSD making it jump farther but damaging the module at the same time. Very innovative. :)
The new station interiors look awesome as well!

What I didn't like was the instantaneous ship transfer... But that's probably been discussed to death now. ^^
 
More than likely. Unless they're already quite far along with stuff for 2.3 and 2.4, I can't see them getting them out before the end of the year given 2.2's October release.

Who knows though. They might be working on all these things concurrently.

If 2.3 makes it for Christmas, it'd be on its fall schedule... Maybe they delay 2.4 (which never had a schedule), to sometime within season 3...

But no... Season 3 definitvely next year...
 
Quick question re: the new galaxy map route plotting and filtering changes. Did I imagine it or was there a suggestion that the route plotter was also going to be updated to allow multiple waypoints to be set (i.e. plot from A to B and then to C)?

These people complaining about ship transfers. Good grief. People complained about the galactic map being too slow. Now Frontier's programmers have written super fast code to whisk our ships across the galaxy in an instant... and people are complaining it is too fast! <:)

Couple of extra bonus reveals on this week's Lave Radio.

1) in the future you may be able to do "nefarious" things to your passengers

2) to support the tourist missions the max mission timeout value is going to be increased to something like 3 weeks! (I sense grand tours)

Archaeological sites (as hinted at by DB) basically confirmed for 2.2 - Sandy: "not just talk"

Something I'm massively pleased about: The Geysers will be active (i.e. not just decorative detail), they can lift up an SRV if you drive over one - Sandy: "I've seen it [happen]"

I presume the first refers to being able to sell them into slavery. Or as per DDF, release them from slavery, which is of course, the opposite - unless they are Impreial slaves, in which case they might be a bit peeved. :)
