2.2 - Ship Transfer (Whatever Kind) - Your Home Base?

I was thinking about posting this but was unsure on how to properly put it up so I decided to do it simply. Since ED wont give us Player Bases or anything similar any time soon, this is the second best option with Instant Ship transfer.

Anyway I found few systems that are really great and with some I was truly impressed on what they are offering and have tons of different Pros and some Cons (not good modules for example.) and I will be changing my homebase for sure after 2.2.

So basically this thread is about:

Where will be your home base? With Ship Transfer (no matter what kind) in 2.2 you can easily be a bit away for the hotspots and still work it.

I am guessing many of you have found some great a bit isolated system but you cannot make it your home base because of distance. If you are willing, share them

Some "rules":

- Dehzra does not count. Obvious reasons. You can post it but it defeats the purpose of the thread since we are looking for AWESOME systems and not awesome station with discounts.
- Similar rule applies to Top LYR stations but still post it because there are some nice LYR systems.
- If you wont move from your spot, you can still post it for others to see what your system has to offer.

So:

- System Name (stations not required but you could say what types of stations are there, Screenshot of the system? )?
- Why that System? (position, clean system, etc...)
- What are Pros of that System? (lots of landable planets to farm materials, gas giants for minerals\metals, possible RES sites, etc...)
- What are Cons of that System (module quality, a lot of piracy?, it is missing something, etc...)
- Why would you set up in that System? Any "overwhelming" reason?
- etc... write your own observations about the system and why you may think on moving on there.

Hopefully we get some nice replies I will be screenshooting some of my candidates now and let the thread live or die ^^

K class red giant with a coriolus station and landable planet only 59ls away.

Everytime you leave the station your entire screen is filled by the red giant.

Also has major reserves for RES and mining and decent outfitting.

Currently Kobayashi in Anlave system.

There's 2 high tech stations there, and its in the heart of the bubble making easy to get (almost) everywhere, very near both empire and alliance space. Oh and Kobayashi is a high-tech station which is not a coriolis (I hate those...)! Its only downside is being in federation space.

Its home to a player faction, CONTRAIL, and even though i'm not part of that faction (nor any other) they are very cool guys, always welcome me into their system when I come home

Previously I was at Hip 21991, which is one of the best systems I ever saw. It had a single station, Charlois City, high tech with excellent outfitting, in Empire Space. There are high res of all types, pristine metallic rings, and its near the edge of the bubble (good for exploration sorties), it was a multi-role player paradise. There's also a player faction there, Reign of Annihilation. LYR systems were also very near. It was a great home, I only left because it was my base for so long, I wanted to live elsewhere for a while.
