Anything from Aliens (again) in USS that do nothing but cause Space to become a green mist to the hidden illusive Asteroid Stations we were expected to find outside of the bubble. Or just perhaps more Easter Eggs for errrr Easter that may involve Crew due to this side causing an issue. I hope it is the mouths moving to our voices as in the funny pirate video.

I am hoping the new cut scene will be more "interactive" once it goes live, and we'll finally get a chance to suicide on Thargoids. But if this cutscene is what Ed and Sandy find "better" than multicrew and holome, I think people are in for a big disappointment.

I am not at liberty to say what the surprise is. I will say I haven't found any in Beta yet. I have checked on almost all of the patch notes a player can, and nothing yet. Multi-Crew isn't running yet, so there's a reason to wait. In the end, how unusual would it be for "Special Mystery" content to not show up in a Beta at all? That is as likely to happen as anything.

Probably something nobody will think to even try for a while, like entering the clouds of a gas giant, trying to land on a HMC world, scrolling over the the LMC in the galaxy map. Fact is that something is different, and the only way we'll figure out what it is, is by not assuming anything's impossible.

This, as yet nothing has got my jaw dropping, new stuff looks nice and all that but nothing to really write home about. But then I stopped the hype train way way back, now I watch youtube go emm nice look forward to seeing that or not...
It comes on my mind but didn't found time to try it.
After work i'll try enter gas giants and vulcanic planets, even those desert/rocky atmo-planets.
I know it's not likely to happen but hell i'll give ita try.
I'm just thinking whatever it is, it's something that they wouldn't advertise simply because they know eventually someone would do it on accident. Then after it's found, the next update to the beta would activate the gas extraction sites and such.
But of course I could be wrong. It could be just more thargoid stuff- however it was something that it seemed like they had to stop themselves from talking about. Thargoid stuff is too obviously secret for it to slip out.
Could you also check to see if the limits of the galactic map include the large magellanic cloud? Who ever scrolls to the edge of the map anyway?
[edit] and it may still only be the small gas giants at that.
