2.3 current HUD holo icons for explorers

still doesn't help me with the old HMC's disguising themselves as ELW's as the holo image is very similar and the cockpit of the dolphin has a white background to the holo image which reflects light so you can't discern between them, thx for uploading though.
Have you muted music in-game? Turn everything off BUT Stellar cartography music, turn that way up. ELW's make a bird-like sound, at least in my mind.
You play on Xbox though? I don't know if the options menu differs much in this case.

Xbox sounds arnt as good as my experience with PC while playing Beta, that's said I do use the sounds to confirm ELW visuals on the system map, if they're near a HMC planet and you hover near it the metallic sounds linger for a while which is mildly annoying as you have to wait a good second for the new sound to come in.. but yes waves and birds is what I listen for, I quite like the background noise so I leave everything on low, SRV scanner along with cartography music is at full blast although it makes no difference and it still whispers to me.
I don't scan all ELW's in any case I left one the other day at 850kls away, another CMDR can enjoy that SC saga.
