2.3 hype topic.

Nothing concrete, just let hype about 2.3 and show Frontier that we really need small announcement to keep us hyped!

To be hones I was hyped for December 2017 for Season 3 announcement, however they have not announced it :( so I moved my hype to patch 2.3 and I can't wait for any news about it!!!

2.3 is the expected third update to the Horizons expansion - titled "The Commanders", according to the Elite Dangerous site:

With 2.2.03 out and seemingly doing well (not 100% sure, I'm not following everything right now) I suspect we will be hearing some 2.3 rumblings soon. I'm gonna guess in the last days of January we will have an announcement.

How do you know what will happen in Dec 2017? Are you a time traveler? Season 3 for December 2017 seems pretty reasonable. You probably meant December 2016 :)

Avatar creation and multi-crew...I wonder how that will work if up until now we could do everything in our ships by our own. (yet they said that will add more "functionality" to our ships)

At least we are going to have a face and hopefully we can buy (IN GAME with credits not real money...) new suits and colours for our commander.

Come on, this is Frontier. You know that is going to cost you extra real money. I'm just hoping we have at least a couple choices included w/o charge.

Yep sorry for that mistake :p I had 2016 in mind ;).

I hope that there will be much more content related to Guardians in near future and much more story driven content...


However I really can't wait for 2.3!

it's about 1 year now and we never heard anything about it.

so ...how can you know that 2.3 truly exists ?

not a single word in the newsletters, not a word from the devs ... not even from David Braben.
Maybe they fear something ? why they don't tell us anything about it ?
