Not that it easy to find secrets as they are just dotted randomly about.

I'm pretty sure there is something waiting for fdevs to flick a switch, just like hyperdictions and the alien base were in the past.

My bet is a Thargoid capital ship in a fixed combat zone, which will be completely non interactive but great for dozens of screenshots and half afternoon of oohs and aahs.

As we haven't even seen the Type 10 yet, I suspect that there is plenty more to come in the coming months.

I'm pretty sure there is more to come and I can't wait to discover on You Tube what there was to find *without ingame tools / mechanics*.

There's a missing "Crystal Forest" that are visible very briefly in the Guardians trailer (it doesn't looks like crystals to me..anyways).
Since there's nothing in the starfield that serves as reference, well, its almost impossible to find.. :|

It is odd isn't it. Whilst it's no surprise it's a slow burn, it's particularly strange that we just don't know where we are in the story arc.

FD said that the story would respond to players input, but given that seems to mean a choice of shoot or don't shoot (and possibly, don't know there was anything to not shoot at), we dont know how we're influencing things that we don't know exist.

Red thargoids could start a mass attack on most stations in the bubble, commanders who logged out in a station that got destroyed will log in to the rebuy screen, all other stored ships lost for good.
All humans would have to retreat to colonia and together with the three superpowers engage in a fight for humanities survival for the next few months.
Now that would be both exciting and dangerous, a few USSs and CGs should suffice instead huh? /s

Man, we have been trying to hunt that organic site down for months now. I really wished they'd give us better hints to this stuff, i understand they don't want everything found right away but it gets to the point where the mystery is no longer mysterious just g annoying.

There is certainly more to come with 2.4 and the Thargoids, but I don't think it's anything we can find, but rather we just simply have to wait for Frontier to slowly progress their story arc.

For example, there are Aegis stations popping up around the Pleaides now. My hunch is that these stations will come under attack from the Thargoids as a retaliation for humans encroaching into bug space. That's when new stuff will begin to happen, but until then we just have to wait to find out what that new stuff will be. This isn't a story which the players unfold, but rather it's Frontier's narrative and we are just along for the ride at whatever pace they dictate.

Now, what that new stuff will be is anyone's guess. What level of effort has Frontier committed to implementing the Thargoid narrative? We'll need to wait to find out.

Not every 15 minutes. But perhaps more often than once every 2 months would be nice. There is a middle ground somewhere in there.

I dont think theres any mysteries out there to be found...which is sorta why I stopped looking a long time ago round about the time of the debacle that was the formidine rift 'mystery' when the whole fuss turned out to be a dev doing a flyby in a T6...that was it...that literally was the whole mystery.

Moving swiftly on as there really aint nothing to see here...either frontier will hit a switch somewhere when some carefully chosen players are given 'clues' about where to look, or it gets added in during one the little updates and claim it was always there...nobody can ever prove otherwise.

Its a case of trying to find a needle in a hay barn full of needles while not knowing what the needle looks like or if it even exists. Players chasing ghosts on a hunt fer a red herring...the novelty died fer me over a year ago...there is no mystery simple as that, just players wishful thinking ^
