2 different kinds of viper?

Hey all. First week playing here, and i got my viper. However the hardpoints are only 2 c2 and 2 c1 types.

Been seeing lots of stats for "viper" and then for "viper mk3" on google, and the mk3 has 2 c4 and 2 c2 hardpoints. So im very confused. Ive never seen a viper mk3 in game. Only a cobra mk3. Am i missing something? Can i upgrade my hardpoints?

What you are seeing now is the hardpoints have been "renamed" since previous beta. So there are no 2 different Vipers.

Not a nerf, just a simplification; weapons have their own stats now, so there is no need to differentiate between fixed and gimballed. Size 1 is small for both, 2 medium, I'm assuming there is also a size 3 and 4, that corresponds to what was 6 and 8.
