2 Ed Trackers?

can a computer use 2 ed trackers? I am thinking of converting my old slippers to gaming slippers.
Could do yaw with my feet or maybe even thrust?

Errr... well, technically yes, you can connect up 2 (I've not tried more than that but I suspect the limit is whatever is in place in Windows in terms of game controllers)....!

Interesting idea. I think I would test the first aedtracker on your feet without head tracking just to see if the foot rudder idea works first.

It might feel a bit weird to control. But could be fine if your just pivoting from your heel and have enough deadzone for the center.

Don't forget the EDtrackers attached to slippers will also have USB leads attached. Getting up for a coffee or comfort break might end up with a hard to explain accident!

hell, why not got the whole hog and sew 5 or 6 of them into a onesie and suspend yourself from the ceiling and fly that ship like Trevize in asimov's foundation and earth (or foundation's edge.. i forget)

... Ok I'll admit it.. i may have had a few too many to drink

EDIT: damnit.. ninja'd by Jack

I've been thinking about this very thing for weeks now, but thought the idea to crazy to suggest it to you guys. Thanks for mentioning it OP.

I'd much prefer a tow mounted EDTracker if it works, because then I move my head about and check out my temps, teamspeak, etc on my other monitor to my left without having the games camera all go nuts.

I guess just stitch some Velcro onto the end of a thick sock or cut down cheap slipper.

I game and compute from my sofa so have everything set up for that. I will have my legs up on a footstool with my toes pointing up, so movement left and right and forward and back is real easy, even a little twist left and right. I'm riddled with arthritis now you see, so gave up my computer desk and chair days for the sofa.

Can it work on toes? If it can be done, I'd much prefer this.
