A couple of enhancement suggestions:-
1. Mission Board - Mission Types
Would it be possible to create a new mission type - "Mining"... and split the existing Mining Missions away from regular transportation missions please? These are clearly very different activities - so different that all the Frontier documentation lists Mining as a separate activity... It's really frustrating to have to scroll through mission lists, looking for useful transportation routes, when 90% of the content is for mining...
2. Mission Filtering
One useful technique to make delivery/transportation missions more time-efficient is to pick a preliminary one or two missions to a given sector [usually based on the fact that they are the highest-priced on offer] and then look for other missions to the same system and, ideally, to the same station as that first, high-value objective.
This process would be massively enhanced if there was the ability to perform dynamic filtering of available missions. It would work like this:-
1. Go to the mission board and select one or two missions. These do not have to be to the same system or station.
2. Go to a new combo box adjacent to the current "mission type" box and use this to select a filtering of all existing missions based on "system" or "station". The view of missions would then be filtered - as with the existing approach - but down to only the station or system reflected in the player's existing shortlist of active missions. This would then permit the player to quickly and easily sift through the content, pick the tasks they want to take, and work from there...
Ultimately I don't think players really want to spend more time than necessary in the mission board. It's a very useful mechanism for earning credits and building reputations [needed for objectives such as the purchase of rank-locked ships [Federal Corvette, Federal Assault Ship, etc] but at the moment the interface is extremely "clunky" - and not the sort of thing we'd expect from an advanced, space-faring species...
Hopefully these enhancements would also be pretty straightforward to add...
Thank you...
