Hi chaps,

I'm selling two HOTAS systems that work great in ED.

1) Thrustmaster Warthog. EDIT Now £160 - save approx £100-130 off new price.
Boxed, excellent condition.

2) Saitek X65f force sensing stick. EDIT now £160 - save approx £140 off new price.
Boxed., decent condition.
A few scratches on the front. The mode switching button popped off, but the underlying switch is fine, so a bit of glue and 2 mins should fix that (The button is just a cover for the switch - the switch can be used without the button on). The throttle tightening system on these was rubbish, and the allen key stripped the screw, so I drilled it myself to accept a larger phillips screwdriver and it works fine now. (Previously the throttle tension could not be adjusted)

For the time being I'm not looking to post. Collection only from London.

Please PM if interested in either.

Cheers!

Collection only might be your issue..

Id of been interested in the thrustmaster but since you wont post.. I have to look elsewere.

Are these kinds of threads allowed here?

What's the reason for sale? that's a hell of a price cut on the warthog...

Well, I'll give you a shout if the WH doesn't move in a week or so if that's alright.

I guess they are allowed - I've already sold one X52 pro and one WH on here.

Essentially I was looking for the perfect stick for myself. I sold my first WH as I couldn't get used to not having a twist after the X52. I then had seller's remorse and bought another, paired with a set of rudder pedals. I didn't get on with the pedals, so decided to go for a twist stick (After spending ages to see if there were any mods to turn the WH into a twist stick. I even spoke to the FSSB R3 guys to see if it was possible with that).

Come to think about it, I'd throw in the pedals for an extra £20 if anyone wants them. (They are CH pro, I think - Bought them for about £45 on EBAY)

The X65f really requires mounting, which I can't do. They worked OK on my sofa (!) but I suspect screwing/fixing them in a permanent position would be the ideal solution.

I've gone with the X55 for the time being, until either an X55 pro is released, or a new WH stick with twist comes out.

If I hadn't bought myself an x55 recently I'd be the one tearing your hand off, for either stick. Whereabouts in London are you? I might want those pedals if no-one else does.

Dogmeat, I'm in N.London, Muswell Hill. I'm afraid someone else has already asked about the pedals should they not go with the WH.

Actually, at the time I linked it, Amazon were selling it for £331.

It's now dropped to £237.

Holey moley! That is the cheapest I've EVER seen one. If anyone wants to buy a new one then now is the time to get it. I guarantee that it'll go up again shortly! Maplin had them briefly for £259, but they went back up again very sharpish.

Incidentally, I believe my one does have some warranty, though I'm not sure how much - I'd have to check. Warranty is transferrable as long as the original receipt is present.

With this new nugget of information in mind, I'm dropping my prices to £160 each (collected).
