Powerplay 2 power play questions

I am new to the game and have looked and looked and can not find answers to either question.

1) when does the current power play week end, I have seen a picture with a end date on the "galactic power standing" window but I don't know if that was just for the x-box.

2) does killing in "military strike" areas cause you to loose rep with the faction you are killing?

  1. Powerplay cycle changes at 07:00 UTC each Thursday.
  2. No, just like in normal conflict zones you don't lose reputation for kills in military strikes or other PP-specific conflict zones.
