Horizons 2 promotions in 1 second

I got a message that I was promoted to Post Captain and a message that I was promoted to Rear Admiral at the same time. Trouble was I was actually promoted to Warrant Officer. Also got a message at the same time stating I had received a permit to PLX 695 but that did not show up on my permits screen. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, there seems to be a serious bug with the "Incoming messages" from the Faction powers. They always declare you to have inflated ranks right now, I've been told I'm now a Post Commander even though I only recently made Chief Petty Officer.
