2 Questions About Benches

Not sure which forum was the best for this, and both questions are probably for the devs, but...

1) Why do guests randomly sit facing either way on the backless benches? Someone asked this on Steam earlier and it made me wonder... was that intentional, a bug, or maybe just an inevitable quirk in the bench design/AI?

2) Why can't we recolor the new benches (the blue metal ones) until after we place them?

Hey JC_17,
Both are known bugs and already reported:
1) In general guests can choose which way they want to sit on the bench (just on backless benches).
But it seems like (since the last update) they are mostly facing away from the path, so there seems to be a bug.

I'm sure those bugs will be fixed in one of the next updates.

Thanks for the reply PlanetChris! I was unaware of the bug on #1 (I rarely use those benches since the new ones came out). I was referring to the general bi-directionality of backless benches as I've frequently had guests staring at bushes/walls instead of the path. I guess that was intentional.

Definitely looking forward to the update that fixes #2.

Yes, I wish they'll change this, and make guests sit in one direction on backless benches as well. It's essentially a nice feature being able to sit in both directions, but helas, most of the time - as we mostly use it - it just looks weird. Not that big a deal, but I'd definitely prefer it modified.

Also: It would be much better for when we add/hide these benches to our custom made benches (which I've seen a lot of people make)
For example: We sometimes give them fake backs. We make a wide circle border around a tree and put them in there. We make decorative bench "wrappers" to surround a game bench. Etcetera

(Maybe we can have one or two "special" backless benches on which guests sit one-way?)
