2 suggestions regarding docking computer and simulation

I would like to offer that a docking computer will do undocking as well. if I carry a ton of computer and spend a slot I want it to take me out of the station as well.

2nd suggestion is to let me simulate ships and modules before I buy them.
I wanna see if the railguns fit my power draw and if not maybe changing the beams to pulse will...
I don't want to go to coriolis for this, I want you to let me simulate my current ship with the possible modules before I buy them.

thank you

I can definitely appreciate this, given the NPC ships seem to work on a logic about leave orders that defies understanding. I got clearance to leave long before several Beluga, Orcas and Type 9s were even being hoisted to the bay and yet seem to think that they should be leaving the station first ignoring all traffic attempting to leave.

Good suggestion but it will never happen. It's been a popular and reoccurring suggestion years back with no dice yet.

This would only make sense if you weren't going to use the engineers.
Most likely you will and then you will change everything from heat efficiency, power capacity, power draw, distributor draw, mass etc. in which case the pre-purchase simulation becomes pretty useless.
You can tailor your ship in so many ways. Don't restrict yourself too much by judging from vanilla module stats.
Besides, there's no loss when selling modules again, so you can go really experimental ;-)
