Taking my time heading in the direction of Sag A. Jump, throttle to 0 but things don't go well, throttle stops responding, fly too close to star, drop out take damage, cargo scoop and hard points randomly deploying and retracting. control loss. Try resetting controls by unplugging and replugging HOTAS, no go. start checking cables, cable between throttle and Joystick was loose, plug back in and control restored.

Lost some health but will continue on. Need to start a better pre-flight check in future.

Sorry to hear, do you still have a keyboard connected? I map navigation controls to the numpad. Helps if my mouse fails or allows me to look around with the mouse while flying with the other hand.

I enjoy exploring, but this was one of the most adrenalin pumping moments I've had this far out. Got to love it. Real time troubleshooting. I still have the keyboard but the connection was just loose, controls were just crazy. And I haven't used the keyboard for year, don't really remember the keybindings. :)

mapping redundant controls in case of emergencies is well worth the time it takes to. Plus it makes it feel like you're flying an actual space craft with multiple redundant controls. :p
