Yea, I run ED on a 21:9 and it looks great! Though now I am primarily in VR, but on 21:9 it looks mighty nice!

Yes, but the info panel in the galaxy and system maps are not positioned properly - they are offset from the left edge rather than being at the very edge of the screen as you would expect. FD are aware of the issue. Not exactly game-breaking just something to be aware of.

Nice choice! 37.5" will be superb - i'd love extra height on ultrawides, but £1250 is above my budget and gsync was my priority feature after 21:9 aspect. IPS vs VA is an individual choice and highly subjective, whilst we all await OLED at a reasonable price point. I trust you have a meaty gpu?

I had a 28" 4k, and I have to say that my 34" 21:9 3440x1440 Dell ultra wide is the single best hardware purchase I have ever made. The improvement to my gaming experience is the biggest of anything I have ever upgraded, including my jump from a gtx 970 to a 1080ti.

Well the selection points for stars seem to be offset too, so it's just a "feature".

It does support other aspect ratios, but in ED there can be issues with the camera clipping through the cockpit. So bear that in mind.

I agree - my 34" Dell works perfectly with ED.

I like it so much I'm looking forward to getting the 38" Dell for my primary account and moving the 34" to my secondary account.

I run the 34" Dell and a 1920X1200 24" monitor with a 980Ti with no problems.
