25 Franchise zoos? Seriously...

I've got all of the Steam Achievements except for one for Planet Zoo....25 franchise zoos seems a bit ...excessive.

I've only been playing Franchise mode for like 2 weeks now, wondering if anyone can tell me if they think I'll eventually get to 25 just out of my own desire to make a new zoo or if this is one of those achievements that I just need to cheese and open those zoos for the sake of getting it done?

(Yes, I know that no one knows what I will do in the future, I'm just asking...like, if other people have just opened that many zoos over time without specifically having the achievement in mind. I'm a relatively ordinary person, so if other people have, I probably will too).

Edit: And why is it 25? It seems like a lot, but if you're going to set it at a number around there...why not pick 27 and then it's one zoo per each biome on each continent available?...but now that I noticed that little fact, I'll probably open 27 zoos eventually without going out of my way so I probably just answered my own question.

In franchise mode If you have the cc's it only takes 2,500 conservation credits to acquire this achievement. You only need to open the zoo's. You don't need to build anything in them.

I'm not sure if the achievement can be acquired in other modes.

Sorry, you are to late :D

I worked on them all, and closed them too. I won't have to buy animals for a year :)

LOL, did you do it intentionally or just open that many zoos out of a desire to open the zoos?

I'm asking because I got all of the other achievements without paying attention to achievements so at this point I just figure ...why not get the last one? But it seems like it might be one that I need to do intentionally.

When I want to learn to play, I become a fanatic. I try a different approaches and than abandon it. It's not efficient, I don't learn much, but it is fun. Anyway, every zoo is a perfect storage points when the regular storage is full.

I open a new zoo for each community event, so I guess at some point I'll have a zoo for every species. Only reason I'll ever get that achievement done. :p

Despite having like 300 hours of "played" time in the game, I'm still pretty new to this whole franchise mode because just doing all the career scenerios to gold was like 250 hours of playtime for me... O.O

The current Cheetah challenge is the first one where I opened a dedicated zoo just to breed them. I've only been in franchise mode since 2 challenges back (Grizzly Bears and Pandas) and realized if I don't do a dedicated challenge breeding zoo I'm never going to get to the higher reward tiers. For the Panda one, I didn't get past the pair of shorts reward. :(

You're so right though, I probably will get to 25 just from the challenges. Thanks for pointing it out!

Pretty sure they've lowered the amount of animals needed to get the rewards this time round. Or it seems much lower to me - think it was 50 released for 15 rewards.

Easiest way for cheetahs is buying the cheap ones from frontier and wild releasing them. My cheetah zoo only has one cheetah enclosure - I did most of the challenge mass breeding/releasing lions for CC in in the opposite enclosure. :p

But I'm too new to franchise to have the CC to throw at it! :)

I was lucky enough to have added Cheetahs to my main, large franchise zoo just the day before this challenge started. Total coincidence, but because of it I started with 3 young 2nd gen cheetahs that I had bred in that zoo. I bought them mates and put them into a new zoo which is doing really well. It has 3 cheetah enclosures for breeding as well as a Nile monitor and warthog/ostrich habitat that I used along with 12 exhibits to get the money flowing in before bringing in the more expensive-to-feed cheetahs.

I was going to go with 4 cheetah habitats, but the zoo isn't profitable enough to afford one more unless I raise the visitor limit of 500 that I set. I'd rather not, visitors are sooo demanding.
