One can still deselect the target and make them function as fixed weapons rendering the chaff useless.
still the viper is a too small to hit propper- anything above cobra wont hit coz of the bad placed hardpoits of the most ships ^^
Interesting the ending ... you were rammed (or rammed - unclear) a half dead cobra but you died.

(I took on a clipper in a cobra .. was totally outmatched and the pilot decided rather than finish me off he would ram me - I won and claimed the bounty : 5 million

lol , i rammed him, your right, and yes a 50% hull cobra is atm the most dangerous thing in ed

I can notice one questionable thing: all the pilots you are killing seem to have minimal dogfighting experience, if any at all.
I guess I can only appreciate dogfighting with merit. Not bouncing clueless individuals who are immediately at a disadvantage and on the defensive from the start.

Ehh yeah, but that does come with downsides. You also don't get that tiny bit of aim assist, which helps a lot at range.

how can i know if someone is good ? i just interdicted anyone , even phytons, anyone.
and i let myself interdict , i dont flee.
and this game is all about positioning ^^
