The funny thing was I was having the exact same issue. I went as far "down" as I could to get a better view of the galaxy, but people had scooped up a lot of those systems. So I did a very wide loop way underneath the California nebula and turned off fastest route and made my way home coming through 2mass. I think our next routes out should be more chaotic and less point and go to shiny thing. We might have better luck.
