2nd attempt to Sag A well underway

Some of you may remember I tried a trip to Sag A a while back and wimped out big time after getting 10k lys out. Well I decided last saturday to try again and waited till now before posting in case I wimped out again!

I'm 19k out from SOL this time, a lot of it was speeding through the first 10k only stopped a few times over the next 5k, then I slowed a bit more and started to scan systems. Not finding anything super special but a few Water Worlds and an ELW. I'm not one for screenies but I've done a few:

Heading towards the Great Annihilator first. 57% needed for Elite exploration, hopefully I'll get it this trip.

Well done! I'm sort of on my way back, I was at Sag A* a few days ago. Not heading straight back, I want to pick up few more systems yet. Hopefully it's going to be a good payday eventually. Been out over two months, might take that long again to get back....

Interesting! I had a similar situation. Was 11 Klys out in ~4 hours when I realized that in my haste I had added a cargo bay instead of a detailed surface scanner, doh! Abort. I am now about 10 Klys out again, taking it much slower, and it's good to know I'm not alone out here :)

For my first two attempts to go to Sag A* I turned back within 2000 LY, just wasn't in the right frame of mind. For my third, having got there I just kept going which has been my exploring style since ;)

two months? I'm not sure I could do that...I must admit I'm stressing about the amount of potential dosh I'm sitting on that one mistake or close binary can wipe out!!

11k in 4 hours! Wow.....mind you I'm lumbering with a 26ly range in my Asp, kitted out to be multirole!

more piccies as I'm only 113 ly from the Great Annihilator! Anyone have advice on what to do/not to do regarding a big black hole? I've seen a small'un before, no problems, but this is my first biggy....(ooh er).

Class Y Brown Dwarf, impressive ring and had a load of HMC planets orbiting.
