2nd Earth-Like & Keeping Record of Discoveries

Hi,

I've just found my 2nd Earth-Like and wondered if when I sell my data if I'll be able to see the system that it was discovered in, or am I better off making a note now whilst still in the system?

Oh.... Here she is by the way :D

I take a snapshot of the system view, with the Earth-like info displayed. I'm on a tript hat will be over 150K Ly total, so I have quite a few now - but as mentioned, don't say it out loud until you've turned it i9n, just in case someone nearby snipes it from you.

This. I screenshot the system view and a close up of the actual planet so I can make a montage later... And compare the landmasses or lackthereof.

Very good - logs systems as you enter them. You can make notes in the right hand side box and click in the note tab next to the system name to enter it. You can also copy and paste it out into an Excel spreadsheet if you're that way inclined.

I do both of these things. EDDiscovery is incredibly good for keeping track of everything. I love it! I make notes with specific codes like 1 WW (1 water world) or 2 AW (2 ammonia worlds) and dump them into a google spreadsheet to sort everything out.

I also take a ton of screenshots and follow up the shiny ones with a shot of the system map with the subject's info displayed. I guess I like things well documented.
