Since 3.0 I flew a t9 for a few days. With a rated thrusters with dirty drag drives handling in normal space isn't too bad. I personally find it nicer than the cutter.
Jump range fully loaded is currently 18ly. I've not maxed fsd but it's not far off and I could add some lightweight engineering but it's never going to be impressive but it's enough for short range trading/missions.
My only real issue that made me go back to the cutter is supercruise handling. It's the only ship I find challenging to avoid interdiction to an extent it gets too annoying. Ragequit the t9 after a string of back to back interdictions with the bar going back and forth in each one for what seemed an eternity before finally winning.
