3.3 Background Simulation Changes

New PC GamesN article states some of the changes, but need to see the UI and experience it to see how far they go. My bet is not quite far enough but a good next step.
The scenario "missions" sound like the old promo vid of the player answering a distress call to aid a capital ship with 3 wingmates. But FD says it should make whether you helped or hindered a specific faction more clear. Also scenario based objectives sound good; like blowing up 15 fuel tanks to disable a mega-ship for the pirates, or defending the ship for the faction owning it.

And much of this communicated by voice, rather than just the text in the hud! COVAS text to speech type coding I hope, instead of pre-recorded audio.

I hope to see similar enhancement to war-zone/ conflict zone to spawn and de-spawn and show change, success/failure, etc.

Oh that excites me excessively! (I will be interested to see if Civil Liberty is a state as well!)
It would be nice to have some more "positive" states. With the exception of Boom all of the economic states - while potentially nice for profitable mercenary work - are not particularly pleasant for the inhabitants.
 
I saw a thing about resource extraction sites being replaced with mineral hotspots - with res sites being the prime bountyhunting spot right now, does this mean the only places to bountyhunt in most systems will be nav beacons?

res not appearing is in the beta known issues thread. so it appears that its a bug.
