3.3 detail surface scanner : keep tracability of what we already scan

Hi,

I love how the exploration become more fun and less rededancy.

Suggestion : When i use the 3.3 version of the detail surface scanner, it could be a good thing to keep track of which objet we already scan. Could be in the Navigation menu with an icon for example.

For now I have to keep a external log

While an icon in the navigation panel would be quicker, there already is an accessible record of which planets in system you have scanned. It tells you in the system map which bodies you have mapped - it's the first line of text under the description of the body. Yes, you have to mouse over the body to bring up the text, so an icon would be faster, but until they (possibly) add an icon, there is a pretty quick way of checking.

Agreed. It would be much quicker to see this in the Nav panel. Going into the System Map time and time again is super cumbersome.

Couple of additional related things I'd love to see related to Detailed Surface Scans:

1. I would love to see information about the scan in the DSS interface once 100% is reached, particularly whether it's a terraformable candidate. Again, going into the System map to see this feels like a step too many.

2. Is there any way we could plot a course within an individual system to optimize the path to visit every planet, or a specified selection of planets?

True - but this is a bit impractical: If I open Sysmap it is by default on the first tab. Then I have always to select the second tab to see the descriptions, and there is the important information, if a planet is mapped (by me), if it is terraformable, and the details. While mapping an entire system I often do not go from the innermost planet by numbers (or vice versa), but by the flight distance. (All planets on one side of the systems ecliptic, and so on). For this reason I often check which planets I already have mapped. So a slight change of the Sysmap would be helpful.

A new icon for bodies I have already mapped would be much better.
