3.5 million

Afternoon CMDR's,

Bored at work, so thought I'd get your opinions.

I timed myself last night(Looser!!). In 1 hour I made 3.6 million credits. I can carry 216 tonnes. This was all within a single system, flying to a 'Seeking Luxury Goods'. Fuel costs are almost zero.

Is this any good?If not, what am I aiming for?

Thanks in advance.

You will likely get lots of different opinions here. I think you are earning fabulous amounts of creds and almost zero risk... therefore it is great. However, if what you are doing is helping you realize one of your goals, then THAT is good and all that really matters.

I'd say it's pretty good for profit and presumably low risk (which system?), albeit fairly boring gameplay I suppose. If you're grinding up towards some goal and are only missing a bit of money you could keep at it, but if you are missing a lot (tens of millions) then maybe try adding a bit of variety (e.g., rare trading) to avoid making the game another boring job. =)

I become a little transfixed on goals within games.

My current target is to get either a Type 9 or Python. I actually like the hypnotic grind( Currently watching Dexter while playing). I was also a fan of JRPG's, which thrive on this style of gameplay.

I do jump back into my ASP on occasion and practice my dog fighting.

I'll keep playing in this way for the time being, hoping for additional gameplay in the future. I'm having fun :)

sounds like you got a hi-tech system in economic boom, with high supply of performance enhancers and a "seeking luxuries" turned up near a station - and no other commanders found it.

i had the same a couple weeks back, mentioned it on here, a couple commanders in T-9's and an Anaconda turned up, and the supply was rinsed in about 90 minutes.

personally, i'd like to see the "seeking luxuries" vary their required goods. clothing, liquor, progenitor cells, etc. - and you have to go visit them to find out first.

i can make the double doing the same with 284 cargo space ;)
a pitty it counts not as trading profit.

Ah, so it doesn't couont towards my 'Elite' status?

My system dried up after 2 hours. Damn shame. I was set for the night. :)

no it aint counting for elite. I would have been entrepreneur by long...
@jaden: it is an outpost...so just small and medium ships can do it =)

Sadly, as a poor bounty hunter, these are wealth figures I can only dream of! Lol!
Nice work! :-D

It's twice as much as I made in 7 days of exploration.
