So, I have to say the Oculus Rift support in Elite is top notch overall, but there are still 3 major issues that I hope will be addressed.
1. The main menu is extremely uncomfortable to use. It is scrunched together in the top left corner of the field of view and terribly hard to read. In the previous build, I was able to lean back in my chair and recenter the Rift that would bring everything much closer when I would sit back up straight, but now, the main menu is just terrible in the DK2. I understand that the menu looks pretty with all the negative space in the 2d version of the game (actually there it looks great), but in VR it isn't great. Maybe we could get a large font/small font option ?
2. The Galaxy Map is still hugely irritating to use in VR. It is still impossible to point at a Star System and then just select it. I know some people are binding some map navigation controls to their HOTAS, but as a Mouse/keyboard user this isn't an option for me.
3. For the love of god let us turn off or reduce the horrible headsway/headbop animation that was introduced in alpha 4. Mike Evans promised us a slider for this at some point during the alpha but there has been zero communication on the issue since then.
