I get that breeding a T Rex should be expensive but funding expeditions should NEVER under any circumstances be that expensive. The cost of synthesis and incubation is understandable but some expedition costs need to be drastically reduced.

On a similar note other financial things that are seemingly there just to make the game harder but in reality just make it more boring because you have to wait longer for money to come in.
Scientists resting and selling fossils. Both shouldn't cost anything.

To be fair regarding the fossils, unless you're only selling one that's only worth forty thousand you're always going to make a lot more money selling them, and doing it while extracting DNA is pretty efficient. I wholeheartedly agree with the massive costs for expedition sites, it already costs nearly five million to synthesize and incubate a rex, it shouldn't cost an additional three million just to try to find its DNA.

By the time you can afford a rex habitat and the rex itself, mining it isn't the end of the world. Please don't make the game as trivially easy as the prior entry was.

If you don't spend your money sure. If you do then you'll only have about 15 million by that point and spending 9 million + just for fossils alone is ridiculous. Also sitting there waiting while the game fast forwards time so you can earn money is NOT making the game more difficult.

Disagree. I love that I need to be careful with money. Cities skylines and Planet Zoo are turned into simple creativity painters with no depth to management since money is trivially easy to come by. This game is pretty good so far with making me think carefully about my spending

There is plenty to do while you wait. I like to jump into vehicles to deal with various problems while waiting for money to go up, and can easily pause, issue orders to scientists, and resume driving.

And sitting and waiting for money to go up means your very expensive scientists aren't doing anything for you; that's bad. They should constantly be assigned places.
