3 Stars in Close Proximity

I'm about 3,100ly out, and I've just found this system that I thought was cool enough to share [big grin]

These are the only three bodies in the system as well.

LOL, I found an even better system about 2 minutes after posting OP.

Also, feel free to post pictures of similar systems with 2+ stars in close proximity :D

You will find, the more you travel, that these are very common... :)

We know that, we're long in the tooth and ever so jaded, always hoping for binary ringed earth likes (and once we find them the next pair have to be co-orbital moons of a lime green gas giant to satisfy us).

Remember when we didn't though? Before we built up a tolerance to wonder that made the next fix ever harder to achieve?

OP - long may you continue to find joy in the sights that some of us have become inured to.

Thank you! And I must admire your eloquent use of language.

I find it hard to loose my sense of wonder in this game. I hope that you hang on to yours as well. I have seen some awesome sights on my trip so far and I have been out a looooooong time now.

As others have pointed out, this is pretty common the further out ye go. Was in one yesterday where I jumped into the middle of a trio with a brown dwarf a bit further away...looks nice but hardly the first time, there's actually quite a few in this region.

As for pics posting...I honestly have no idea how to, I'll get my daughter to show me sometime.

Well done fer taking the first few steps into the black...now things just get better the farther out ye go ^^

I assumed they weren't; I've only really just left the bubble xD

Yes it is common, but awesome to encounter nevertheless.
Some stars are so close they touch each other.

These are all thoroughly amazing! I've been shown up a bit, I guess :p

The universe is amazing and the way Elite simulates it is spectacular.
