3C gimballed Multicannon

No, the biggest multi-cannons in the game are the class 2.
I'm not sure the Avenger is larger than a medium multi-cannon. Elite ships are really big. Someone needs to do some scale comparisons to be sure.
The C3 weapons on the Vulture (since it gives a decent size comparison) don't make them look any bigger than large vehicle mounted weapons we have today. Considering the GAU-8 is bigger than a car we might actually have to scale it down a bit to fit on a large hardpoint.

Personally, I think as the classes of MC increase the spin up time should increase, the ROF would decrease and the damage would increase. I was thinking of a way to scale up MC's and leave the small ships a chance. Slow ROF should mean small ships can jink to avoid most of the grief but the large ships couldn't. Bizarrely I was thinking of old WW2 anti air batteries and their slow yet constant fire pattern.
While we're on the subject what happened to the differing types of multi cannons from beta - i think there was overcharged and slower stronger variants?
Would really like to see 2 or 3 variants for each major weapon- a faster less accurate, and a slower more deadly versions of the projectiles.
I also think there should be a slower projectile laser , i call it laser ball,, its dodgable but does more damage (and infinite ammo)

I know this subject has been done to death a bit but I agree with the "missing" class 3 multi-cannon. As you go up in size you should get a slower rate of fire with a heavier hitting round;

Variant weapons were removed after Gamma. They currently only exist on ships that fitted them during this time and won't return until a future update when procedural module types will be introduced.
Maybe introduced......maybe....Sandro said he had the model but it would be a lot of work and not expected any time soon for the procedural weapon variants. Shame really, me and a few others have put forward viable alternatives within the games lore already, I just hope they do not overlook the C Class of multi cannon because it is my favorite weapon of dog-fighting.....multi cannons and missiles will remain so until I manage to master my humongous B4 cannon that I am trying on the FDL with 2 other D2 gimballed cannon beasts too, I am having slightly better luck with a ''Predator'' target of 3 cannon shells than just the huge B4 cannon on it's own......still....rather have a B4 triple barreled Bofors style ''Auto cannon'' with 2.0 to 2.5 shots a second and a small magazine than the 0.5 shots a second of the B4 on its own.

The class 2 multicannon is FAR larger than the GAU8, even. The ammo drum and feed system make the GAU8 look far larger. The class 2 MC itself is the size of the nose/cockpit of the A-10.
Elite ships are extremely large. There is a picture out there somewhere comparing some ED ships to Big Ben. The A-10 itself is closer to the size of the F-63 Condor... meaning even the Eagle is giant next to the A-10.
