3D anaglyph setup issues

I've been borking around with the settings and it seems really promising, except that I can't get both colors/imagines to line up right. It seems like I set the focal point to maximum, which brings it closer to united but isn't far enough. I tried tweaking it further in the settings file itself but it doesn't seem to be pushing it further. Is there a more surefire way to set it up? Is it based on resolutions that do work properly with the game? What can I do to get it to work properly?

There have been posts about ED not getting the colours right and I have to agree. I found that I had to put another red lens over the existing one as colour was bleeding through. It eliminated most of the 'doubling up'. This may be what you're experiencing as one colour/side should eliminate the other. I found the best result for a sense of scale was with 3D Separation full on (slider right) and Focal Distance fairly low or below middle. Once I'd eliminated most of the 'ghosting' the sliders just served to add/reduce the effect to my liking. Hope this helps.

What is your overall experience playing anaglyph 3D? Is it worth it you think or do you rather play in 2d after all because the effect isn't ias it should be / too tiring / too dark... or something like that?
