I see someone is producing 3d printing patterns of Star Citizen ships to print yourself if you have a suitable printer, here;

Dare we hope for similar Elite models? I daresay there may be some copyright questions with Frontier though, unless they are thinking of releasing something themselves?

doubt you will see any soon, many forked out over £500 for a 3D printed model during the Kickstarter campaign.
