3D Separation and Focal Point

I'm coming from TriDef so ED 3d settings sound weird to me. What is 3D separation and focal point? Is the first one depth and the second one "scene in front"

Afaik these settings shouldn't be touched. They are set for an optimal DK2 experience as it is.

Usually not but every now and then theses settings are changable. Usually vsync is forced on as well but sometimes the toggle is active too.
I think it is a bug and not supposed to be available.

AFAIK those settings are ignored when Oculus Rift is used. They are intended for 3D monitors.

I am using a 3D monitor that's why I'm asking. The problem is no matter how I change the settings the depth outside the cockpit is poor. If only FD would work with TriDef to bring us better S3D support.

Can anyone be kind enough to upload a picture of the default 3D settings. I order colorcross which I will use until Rift gets released and I would like to have all my settings at default.
