3D Vision help? Star field and nebula in front of other objects

As you can see in the picture (well, maybe.. you need some form of 3d, even if it's red/blue glasses with Discover) That nebula is in front of (closer to me) the reticle in the hub. Even worse is when viewing in a RES at a planetary ring. the stars and dust and whatnot, light years way, are in front of the ring system. Even watched a ASP fly behind a nebula, heh. I've tried messing with convergence, but that seems to do nothing with the star field.. neither does depth.

This is using compatibility mode, using the standard mode, you simply get a 2d cockpit that is slightly off screen, and everything else in 2d, slightly back, with the hud's depth changing at the edges of the ship frame. Like it sits on the same plane with the starfield outside the window, but where it crosses, its at the cockpit depth, so that's a no go.

The ingame 3D option is no help, simply showing sbs. Any ideas? There's times, like away from any system objects, and the hardpoints retracted, it just looks amazing. Sadly, the moment a planet or ring system, or other ship, or the hardpoint targetting hud show up, it's way off.

*edit* forgot the screenshop >_< http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/candytripn/image/5568fd54e7e564d74a000231/

As much as I'd love a dk2, recent events have had me refrain from ordering one, and the new gpus to support. My dual oc 580s though, still pull 3d vision off fine at 60fp. Here's waiting, as I'm a huge fan of 3D Vision gaming, where it works right.
